About Me

I truly cannot explain how happy I am that you are HERE! Taking photos and sharing them with you is one of my greatest passions, and the people who make that possible are so important to me.

While I often look through the lens of a camera, I also work through the lens of capturing moments in Faith. All of my work is truly rooted in the belief that every single person and every event is a reflection of  God's beauty and purpose. I believe that God places you right where you are for a reason, and capturing that is part of appreciating His unique plan. Weddings, senior portraits, family portraits, or anything else allow me to capture stories that truly glorify Christ!  

I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. While I LOVE the desert landscape, the warm weather, and the cacti, I am officially moved back to Iowa! This is where my favorite people are, and I am excited to start shooting here year round.

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education, and I am now a 3rd-grade teacher! It is my goal to teach full-time, do photography during the summer, and, when I can manage, during the school year!

I LOVE: The Office, pickles, dogs, anything by Josiah Queen, my collection of water cups, the beach, blankets, reading on my Kindle, and sitting outside.

I HATE: Bugs, when people turn on the "big" light, cars with those huge LED headlights, and anything lavender.
